overall design concept, visual merchandising, retail styling, signage, brand experience

Berkelouw Books wanted to introduce a complementary product offering to their existing strong brand - one of Australia's largest and long established booksellers. inochi worked closely with the client to produce a brand identity and in-store display unit that built on this strong heritage and reputation. Berkelouw Cronulla, first of twelve stores, introduced product display - a custom joinery unit designed and styled by inochi. A new raised plywood ceiling, exposed brick wall, Moroccan feature lights, use of brand colours, freshly polished existing concrete floor and raw plywood joinery bring warmth and generate interest. Structured shelving layouts and clever space planning create a directional and natural flow through the space, amongst the thousands of books on display.
