LUKE NOVOTNY
the architect, product designer and the 3D visualiser
Luke [M.A. Architecture,B.Industrial Design] is an architect and designer, holding a Masters degree in
Architecture and Bachelor of Design in Industrial design. He has extensive experience in both fields.
Beginning his career as an Industrial designer with Deuce design, he designed watches, shoes, sportwear
and apparel for an international client list including Globe, RipCurl, Timberland, Guess, Saucony and Nautica.
Pursuing his passion for Architecture, he has spent the last 7 years working on a large variety of Architectural
projects for Cox Richardson, Crone Nation and C3di.
Luke specialises in the use of computational media, and has advanced skills in digital modeling, rendering,
simulation and fabrication techniques.His experience covers large scale master planning, high rise residential,
sporting arenas, exhibition centres, commercial office, and transportation infrastructure. Sites include
Australia, South Africa, Dubai, Abu Dabi, China, Singapore and India.
Lukes work has been published in various books, journals and websites. His design work was exhibited in
the Australian pavillion at the 2008 Venice Bienalle, while his visualisation work has been used to represent
the software manufacturer Autodesk.
Luke brings a refined design sensibility and an advanced tool-set to inochi. Detailed drawing and modeling,
highest quality rendering, lighting and digital fabrication allow the client and designers to understand, assess
and refine the design throughout the process and to bring that vision to reality.
